Building on this strong foundation, ̨ÍåSwag now offers both Alternative Certification (Transitional B) and Traditional Pathway options within its 36-credit master’s programs. Each program prepares candidates to become certified teachers in New York State while honoring the cultural and religious values of the Orthodox community.
Programs Offered
Students can apply to one of four program options:
- M.S. – Childhood Education (Grades 1-6) / Students with Disabilities (All Grades PK–12): Alternative Certification
- M.S. – Childhood Education (Grades 1-6) / Students with Disabilities (All Grades PK–12): Traditional
- M.S. – Early Childhood Education / Students with Disabilities (Birth–Grade 2): Alternative Certification
- M.S. – Early Childhood Education / Students with Disabilities (Birth–Grade 2): Traditional
All programs lead to eligibility for dual New York State teacher certification in general and special education.
